Men’s Sheds can nail down serious funding

The grants are available to the community to either build and/or upgrade sheds across the state, so more people can benefit from the valuable services and companionship a shed offers.

Men’s Shed groups can apply for grants of up to $80,000 for the construction of a new shed or the replacement, extension and refurbishment of an existing shed.

“Men’s Sheds offer a range of opportunities for men — of all ages and abilities — to work together on projects and form friendships, while also giving back to their community,’’ Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp said.

“The Andrews Labor Government is continuing to open more Men’s Sheds in population hubs, so that more Victorians can benefit from the important roles that these sheds have long played in the local community.”
