THE 69-year-old man charged with shooting a woman at Mincha near Pyramid Hill has been released on bail.

Abdul Elraoui, 69, appeared in Bendigo Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with several offences, including reckless conduct endangering life, intentionally cause injury and prohibited person using a firearm.
He was bailed to appear at the same court on October 2 for a committal mention.
Elraoui was arrested without incident after the shooting at Mincha-Canary Island Rd about 3.20am on Tuesday.
Investigators were told a 21-year-old Epsom woman was walking with two male friends when she was shot to the mid-torso.
After the shots were fired the wounded woman and both men sought protection in a nearby house.
The woman was later taken from there to Bendigo hospital with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
