Superbikes take first spin at Winton since lockdown
Regional track Winton Motor Raceway will host the third round, with the event locked in for July 18 and 19.
Winton Motor Raceway general manager Jeff Grech said the recent announcement was great news for the region.
“It's great that we have the Truck Assist Winton Supercars round at Winton,” Grech said.
“We have to thank the hard work and patience that Jaclyn Symes, Martin Pakula, and the Victorian Government has made to ensure that this happens. We will be ready.”
Supercars chief executive Sean Seamer stressed all details were subject to change given the nature of the COVID-19 situation.

Further details for each event will be released in due course, in particular regarding spectators, though the first round back at Albert Park will be spectator free.
“We will continually assess the possibility of admitting fans to events based on the direction of government restrictions,” Seamer said.
Since the Supercars’ hiatus, drivers have continued to ply their trade in the Supercars All-Stars E-Series, which has been broadcasted on Fox Sports, Kayo, and 10 Play.
