FIFTHQTR – Foundation is an independent not for profit organisation supporting AFL & AFLW player health and wellbeing beyond the game.
John Barnes
Echuca-Moama sports people, families and club administrators are invited to The Fifth Qtr event on April 29th, Moama Bowling Club, starting 6:30 until 8pm.
Ken Hunter, former Carlton star along with local Echuca resident Ken Sheldon, also a former Carlton footballer and ex-St. Kilda coach, started The FIFTHQTR – Foundation because of the vast vacuum of care, advice and assistance after finishing playing.
Today their goal is to connect with all local footy, netball and other contact sporting clubs to provide the education, advice and support that’s missing. Importantly, a special focus is on the partner of the affected player, their parents and families. Providing specialist advice and creating local support communities is all part of their service.
Everyone is welcome from school kids, their parents, teachers, local businesses, local Football-Netball past & present players, and club administrators.
Tickets are available at TryBooking for $25. Children under 18 free. If you wish to donate $25 to The Fifth Quarter Foundation, entry is free.
The FIFTHQTR – Foundation is sponsored by Straterra Australia, with excellent support from the Moama Bowling Club.....The Venue 6 Shaw St, Moama.
