Mouth watering hamburgers, fluffy pancakes, a big diner breakfast and aromatic coffees were among the menu items being served up to the first customers at Deniliquin’s newest eatery at the weekend.

The 1950s themed Cruizin* Diner was opened at the Deniliquin Cobb Highway Roadhouse on Saturday, with a special opening weekend party continuing on Sunday.
Anyone who made a purchase at the diner during opening weekend received discounted entry to the adjacent The Depot Historic Vehicle and Memorabilia Collection.
To add extra fanfare on Saturday, there was a display of classic cars and a cake cutting ceremony.
