Caledonian Hotel owner Dave Cunningham wants The Cal’s bistro to be welcoming to everyone, including anyone who is gluten-free.

“Whatever can be gluten-free, we will make it gluten-free,” Dave said.

“The pub menu changes quite a lot as well.

“The menu you are looking at now will change because we are entering summer, with a new menu coming into spring.”

Latte Lane at The Cal is a popular coffee and food drive-through.

Open from 6am to 4pm on weekdays and from 8am to 1pm at weekends, Latte Lane makes ordering and pick-up of great coffee and takeaway meals quick and easy.

“Ordering and pick up is pretty much instantaneous at Latte Lane,” Dave said.

“The coffee beans are Genovese, and that is excellent coffee.

“It is drive-through, so it is extremely quick.

“There is a lot of food on offer as well, specials and seasonal items on the drive-through menu.”

When visiting Echuca Moama and to go where the locals go, head to the Thursday night trivia at The Cal.

“Thursday night trivia has been going for years,” Dave said

“The trivia is about everything, so anyone is in with a chance.

“You need to book a table if you would like dinner beforehand, but most people come in somewhere between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

“On the night the best team wins bragging rights.”

The Cal also has a sports bar, Tab and Keno, a big screen showing your favourite sports, and a beer garden.
