The free, community-focused event ran from 6.30pm until 9pm, transforming the venue into a sea of glowing candles, blankets and lawn chairs as locals gathered to enjoy the sounds of the season.
The 51st annual Carols by Candlelight featured a talented line-up of local performers, including the St Paul’s Lutheran Church Choir, Shepparton Brass and Wind, Kat Bristol and Julianna de Quilettes just to name a few.
Santa and Mrs Claus brought Christmas cheer to the pavilion stage while cheeky elves walked among families to hand out candy canes.
Food vans such as Mr Sheppy and Top Notch Poffertjes were on site, proving popular throughout the evening.
Friends Freya Thompson, 8, Maeve Sloan, 8, and Audrey Sloan, 7, are all giggles and smiles.
