Rochester hosted an Australia Day ceremony alongside breakfast at Lions Park on Wednesday morning.

The breakfast summoned a large crowd of Rochester locals for a bacon-and-egg breakfast served by the Rochester Lions Club, and was attended by Campaspe Shire Rochester ward councillor Paul Jarman, Karen Livingstone AM, Rochester Lions and Rochester Motoring Club.

Two of the shire’s biggest honours went to Rochester locals, with Dimity Pearson taking home Campaspe Shire Young Citizen of The Year and the Wirima in Rotary Park committee taking home Campaspe Shire Community Group of the Year.
