Carly is a three-year-old domestic short hair who could change your opinion of the common household cat.
She come across as timid at first, but once you get to know each other, there won't be anything stopping the bond you'll share between you.
She has a relaxed yet inquisitive nature, so don't be surprised if you see her wondering what you're up to or keeping you company for all your daily chores and activities.
She will often be happy enough to sit at a window, watching the day go by or even just exploring her surroundings.
Carly has been in the care of the Campaspe Animal Shelter since May 22 this year so to say finding her forever home is overdue would be an understatement.
In one of her former nine lives, she was diagnosed with cat flu.
Despite making a full recovery, some cats remain a carrier of this disease and it may return in the future.
The majority of animals which contract the flu will recover without any long-term impacts on their health.
If you would like to meet Carly or any of the other many cats available, head to campaspe.vic.gov.au or call 5480 3005.
