YOUR chance to score the bragging rights for the best hole in one in Echuca-Moama – and a brand new Kia Cerato GT – is fast approaching.
Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content
The major fundraiser for the Echuca Specialist School is almost here with an afternoon full of fun and prizes.
But everyone's eyes will be fixed on the sparkling new Kia Cerato GT sitting out the front as they line up to take their best shot at the hole in one.
As well as the hole in one competition, there will be a four-ball ambrose competition for teams to enter and an auction in the afternoon.
In the lead up to the event, you’ll be seeing the Cerato GT, donated by Echuca Kia, parked around town to view it in the metal.
“We have permission from council so we’re going to have it parked at different spots around town in the coming two weeks,” Echuca Specialist School administration officer Jenni Candy said.
“This is our major fundraiser for the new school playground equipment and it’s shaping up to be a great day.
“We encourage everyone to come along, have a shot at the hole in one or get a team together for the ambrose event.”
There will be live music, a barbecue, drinks and auction items on the day.
The ambrose event begins at 1pm on October 26 and the hole in one event at 3pm - with 250 balls - at the Back Nine Golf Course, Eyre St and McKenzie St Echuca.
