Head down to Moama Botanic Gardens from 7 am on Sunday for breakfast and catch up at the Echuca Moama celebrations.
New citizens will be celebrated on the day following the Australian citizenship pledge withmayors and councillors.
Local individuals and organisations will be honoured as well with the traditional Australia Day awards, which are designed to recognise anyone who has helped or contributed to the community in a positive way.
There will be entertainment from local artists on the day as well as vintage cars and motorcycles on display.
Youngsters and the young at heart can have their face painted with other activities for the whole family.

Gunbower
Join the Gunbower Angling Club for a community breakfast from 7.30am-9am at Felix L’Huillier Park, Gunbower Recreation Reserve.
There will also be a flag raising ceremony, morning tea and address from Australia Day ambassador Don Abell from 11am at the Gunbower Memorial Hall.
Koyuga
The Koyuga Memorial Hall and Recreation Reserve Committee will be co-ordinating a flag raising ceremony sausage sizzle and yabby races at the Koyuga Hall from 5-9pm.
Lockington
Thanks to the Lockington Lions Club, you can attend a breakfast, flag raising and listen to a guest speaker at Lions/Apex Park from 8.30am-11am.
You can also take the kids and go to the Lockington Action Club's kids fishing competition between 12.30pm and 3pm.
Tongala
Co-ordinated by Tongala & District Australia Day Committee, you'll be able to attend the Tongala celebrations which will include a flag raising, address from ambassador Alice Pung, awards presentations, a sing-along and barbecue lunch from 11am.
Kyabram
Join the Rotary Club of Kyabram for their festivities from 9am-10.30am.
The celebrations will include a flag raising, barbecue breakfast, guest speaker, awards presentation and entertainment.
Kyvalley
From 12.15pm, you can attend a community ceremony, barbecue lunch, entertainment at Kyvalley Community Park.
The pool will also be open to the public.
Mathoura
Meet at Soldiers Memorial Park from 8am for free breakfast and presentations.
Barham
Riverside Park from 7am for free breakfast. From 8am you can see an address from a local ambassador, presentations and the flag raising ceremony.
