THIS year's Autumn Ladies Luncheon may not be happening when originally planned, but it will hopefully be held later in the year.

The older and new members of the committee wanted the lunch, which was planned to be held at the Echuca Hotel in May, to go ahead, but the organisers knew it was not the right time.
“We would have loved to have had the event. We love getting everyone together for a lovely meal, but the safety of our ladies comes first,” organiser and Echuca Regional Health volunteer Theresa Jacobs said.
“Because our main demographic is the older generation.
“We've recently passed on our knowledge to the new and younger members of the group and we know they are also very keen to have the event later in the year.”
The event raises money for the ERH oncology department and the ladies would still like to support the cause in any way they can.
“We don't want people who have already bought a table or who are thinking of doing so to think we're not going ahead with the event at all, we're just postponing,” new member Susan Eacott said.
“We will let our ladies and gentlemen know when the event is back on, they don't need to worry.”
