Jaike Wallace, 29, pleaded guilty in Echuca Magistrates' Court via video link on Tuesday, November 24, to a string of charges including burglary, theft and driving offences.
They included stealing assorted packets of cigarettes, confectionery and lighters from a Cohuna service station on June 24, 2020.
He also stole a 2014 Nissan Navara from a property in Bamawm.
Wallace stole another Navara in Kyabram on November 11, 2019, before attempting to steal an ATM from Stanhope Fuels.
On November 13, 2019, he stole cash and a cash register, totalling $3200, from the Tongala Hotel before stealing 175 packets of cigarettes from Tongala IGA five days later.
Wallace was sentenced to a non-parole period of 12 months, with 117 days already served.
Magistrate Rodney Higgins wished Wallace “good luck”.
“You don’t want to keep going back to jail, you’ve just got to pull your head in and get a good job,” Mr Higgins said.
