From 11am, congregation from local Christian churches gathered at the Echuca Moama Uniting Church, beginning a day of reflection and unity.
Attendees participated in Bible readings, prayers and songs as they moved between the Uniting, Christ Church Anglican and St Mary’s churches.
They carried a wooden cross with them, following the path Jesus is said to have taken before his crucifixion.
The Riv’s photographer Jordan Townrow was there to document the gathering.
Fr Novie Lim (Catholic Church), Alan Lockwood (Uniting Church), Major Greg Turnbull (Salvation Army), Chris Stevenson (Epicentre Church), Hannah Stevenson (Epicentre Church), Rev Phil Zamagias (Anglican Church).
