On Tuesday, May 12, they were celebrated on International Nurses Day.

This year, the theme of International Nurses Day was ‘Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.’
The theme is a call for investment in the nursing profession, with the theme’s focus sending a message that to maximise the life-saving impact of the nursing workforce, nurses must be empowered with safe, fair work environments.
Echuca Regional Health nurses and their work colleagues enjoyed an afternoon tea on Tuesday to celebrate the day.
