Songwriter Kane Vincent is set to perform at Autumn Country at The G.R.A.I.N. Store in Nathalia on Friday, April 24, joining a line-up that blends established artists with the next generation of performers.
For Vincent, the performance marks a homecoming of sorts, bringing his music back to the community that helped shape it.
A former chef who swapped the kitchen for the guitar, Vincent now writes songs grounded in everyday life, drawing on folk, blues and country influences to tell quietly observant stories.
Keenly observant, his music draws on both the mundane and the extraordinary, blending folk, pop and country influences with a soulful edge and a nod to the blues.
His talent has not gone unnoticed, with his engaging vocals and songwriting earning him the 2024 Country on Keppel Talent award.
He will perform alongside Golden Guitar nominee Felicity Dowd, whose reputation as a touring songwriter has seen her perform across the country, as well as emerging artists Keeley Black and Paige Lee.
The evening will also feature the Nathalia Line Dancers, adding a lively interval performance to the program.
The event highlights the strong connection between country music and regional communities, bringing together experienced performers and young artists finding their voice.
Set in a rural town and shaped by the rhythms of regional life, the night promises an intimate mix of storytelling, live music and community spirit.
Autumn Country will be held at The G.R.A.I.N. Store, with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm performance.
Tickets are available via Humanitix or The G.R.A.I.N. Store, with a range of pricing options to ensure accessibility for the community.
