This year, Moama Lions Club has joined forces with Dillmac Entertainment for a Christmas carols spectacular.
Dillmac Entertainment principal teacher Liz Dillon will don the MC’s hat for the event.
The festivities kick off at 5pm with a classic Lions barbecue, hot chips and refreshing drinks.
For those with a sweet tooth, treats from Port Ice Creamery, Let’s do Coffee and The Donut Man will be on offer.
The carols begin at 6pm, featuring performances by Dillmac Entertainment students, Vivid’s ‘Silent Voices’, Katie Stroud, Jefferson Smith and the Moama Anglican Grammar Choir.
The event will showcase 25 musical numbers, including beloved Hi-5 Christmas songs and selections from Elf: The Musical.
In a magical twist, Santa Claus himself will make a grand entrance, accompanied by Dillmac students dressed as his merry elves.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or picnic blankets and join in the carol singing.
The Moama Lions Club will provide programs with song lyrics, which will double as raffle tickets for prizes drawn throughout the night.
