C reserve fought hard but were unable to walk away with the win. The five-week break in the season has been tough and it's back to learning some basic skills. Moama had highly skilled and experienced players and are the team to beat going into finals.

It was a great effort considering no training for two weeks. The Eagles are improving every week and have come a long way since the start of the year.

It was great to be back on court, however, with no preparation or training time it did show on the scoreboard. Every player played a great game and will take something away from it.

It was a tough game against cross-border rivals Moama. The girls toughed it out for the four quarters with a great game from L’val in defence while Esha led well throughout the game. Chloe and Abbey did a great job in goals against a tough defence.

There is much improvement since round one by all the team, with great determination and effort to productively put into place what has been worked on at training.
