Council adopts financial plan
Gannawarra Shire Council’s long-term financial sustainability will be guided by a recently adopted 10-year plan.
The Financial Plan 2025/26 to 2034/35 outlines the council’s financial projection over the next decade, and is tied to the 2025-2029 Council Plan.
It forecasts the council will be debt free over the plan’s timeframe, with an underlying deficit over the life of the plan and cash flows in surplus for five of the next 10 years.
The renewal of the council’s assets are also forecast to surpass the 100 per cent mark in four of the next 10 years.
