Following the declaration of candidates, the Divisional Returning Officer for Farrer will conduct a random draw for positions on the ballot paper in accordance with requirements of the Commonwealth Electoral Act.
The declaration of candidates and ballot draw will be done at 567 Smollett St, Albury, across from Kmart at West End Plaza.
The deadline for candidate nominations is fast approaching, with nominations closing at noon on Monday, April 13.
Mt Terrick road works
Road closures and detours are in place for Mt Terrick Rd, Echuca due to development works.
With development works by Winslow Constructions happening on the corner of Mt Terrick Rd and Murray Valley Hwy, Echuca, Mt Terrick Rd will be closed through to April 19.
From April 19 to May 29, Mt Terrick Rd will be open and under temporary traffic management.
This is to support road widening, footpath and kerb works.
The closure has been designed to minimise community impact as much as possible.
Please drive safely and obey all temporary traffic signage and directions.
