An electrical fire broke out at an Echuca business on Tuesday, July 9.

Staff at Olive Tree Deli on Annesley St raised the alarm at 11.32am, after noticing a small electrical fire break out at the premises.
Volunteer firefighters from Echuca and Echuca Village CFA brigades responded to the incident, with four vehicles deployed.
Staff from the cafe used a fire extinguisher put the blaze out. On arrival, CFA firefighters confirmed there was no further risk.
Echuca CFA Lieutenant Rhys Pontelandolfo praised the Olive Tree Deli workers for their quick response.
“The staff did a really good job of putting it out prior to our arrival,” he said.
“So we didn’t do very much at all.”
Four vehicles were deployed, with volunteers from two CFA brigades attending the scene.
