One hundred women will be joining Echuca Regional Health this Thursday to commemorate International Women’s Day.

The sold-out event which explores the theme ‘Count Her In’ will include a panel with three local women including ERH Board chairperson Stacy Williams, lawyer and director at Cosgriff Lawyers Skye Engwerda, and community member and farmer Kate Dixon.
The panel will touch on the the vast contributions women make to local and global economies, including through their unpaid (and often unacknowledged) care and work in the home, as well as their participation in business, agriculture, and communities.

ERH’s chief executive Robyn Lindsay said they were excited to be hosting the hospital’s first International Women’s Day event.
“We are thrilled to be able to hear from our panel of local community leaders; Stacy Williams, Skye Engwerda and Kate Dixon, whom we know will captivate and inspire our audience through the 2024 theme for International Women’s Day ‘Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’,” she said.

As well as the half-hour panel, the night will include time for the women to chat, door prizes and live music by Madi Colville-Walker.
The panel starts at 7pm with those attending encouraged to arrive at the CocknBull Boutique Hotel about 6pm.
