A worker received an injury to his head after he was allegedly hit with a bottle after an altercation in a Shepparton takeaway shop on Thursday, March 12.

Shepparton police Sergeant Daniel Fleming said a man and a woman allegedly went into the Vaughan St kebab shop “ranting” and punching the shop window about 3.20pm.
The altercation spilled outside, and a man who worked at the shop was allegedly hit in the head with a glass Bundaberg rum bottle in a laneway next to the shop.

A man was arrested by police over the alleged incident.
The woman left on foot, and police were looking for her on Thursday afternoon.
