The vacuum cleaner was presented to Shepparton RDA treasurer Keren Fletcher at Shepparton's Everyday Supplies, and handed over by members of the Rotary club.
Everyday Supplies proprietor Brad Hill said he was "more than happy" to source the multipurpose vacuum cleaner that would come as a huge help to RDA volunteers.
RDA volunteers spend hours cleaning their large shed and surrounds.
Rotary club president Joseph Tam acknowledged the "wonderful contribution" RDA volunteers provided to students and clients in this area.
“RDA programs provide a freedom and mobility for the riders, a feeling of independence and a sense of achievement for participants,” he said.
Mrs Fletcher thanked the Rotary Club of Shepparton for its "very generous donation" and said it would make their work "so much easier" in the coming months and years.
Earlier this year, a working bee was organised through Rotary, with many volunteers providing their time to assist the RDA in its work across the region.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, RDA programs had been shut down for the past 12 months.
“The very productive morning saw the facilities and surrounds looking the best for the opening-up day everyone was so much looking forward to,” Dr Tam said.
