The Australian Darts Championships have wrapped up in Moama, with the men’s and women’s singles champions being crowned to conclude the week-long event.

It was glory again for Victorian Tori Kewish, who claimed her fourth women’s singles title in a row after winning the most recent championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Kewish defeated Sarah Harrison 6-3 in the final after winning her first four matches to reach the decider.
The win caps off a successful 2022 championships that also saw her win the women’s doubles alongside Echuca's Jo Hadley.
Kewish narrowly missed out on a third title at Rich River this year, with her and partner Justin Thompson losing to Kym Mitchell and Peter Machin 5-4 in the mixed doubles final.
Champion: Victoria’s Tori Kewish won both the women’s singles and women’s doubles at this year’s championships. It was her fourth singles title in a row.
Thompson and Kewish missed out on a fifth successive mixed doubles title, having won the category on the four previous occasions.
Kewish also finished second in the Pacific Masters at the start of the tournament.
In the men’s singles competition, Thompson took out the crown with an emphatic 6-2 win over Brandon Weening in the final.
Up three legs to two, Thompson won the last three legs to claim his third title of the past four championships.

Weening didn’t leave from the competition empty-handed, winning the men’s doubles alongside teammate Michael Bajowski.
The men’s and women’s singles were two of more than a dozen events at this year’s championships at the Rich River Golf Club, which kicked off with the Pacific Masters on Sunday, August 7.
The championships followed the Australian Darts Open, which was held over four days at the Moama Bowling Club the previous week.
Top five: Ky Smith, ranked fourth in Australia, was one of the competitors at this year’s Australian Darts Championships.
In other darts action, Queensland claimed a clean sweep in the team events after winning both the men’s and the women’s crowns.
Queensland narrowly topped Western Australia in the women’s category, denying WA what would have been its fifth consecutive title, while its men’s side finished ahead of South Australia.
