From August 1 to 3, Victoria took on NSW and Queensland in the under-18 tri series and Moama had strong representation in the boys and girls squads.
In the boys, Jacob Brighton and Brock Keenan featured, while Mackenzie Parsons and Gracie Retallick competed with the girls.
The boys accumulated an overall 7-5 record on the other states, winning the division by six points.
The girls finished 6-6, falling narrowly below NSW in their division, but kept it close enough that Victoria scored the win on the overall point score between both genders.
Keenan and Brighton both won four of six matches in a strong display.
Parsons topped the individual ladder in the girls, winning five of six games, while Retallick was a solid contributor, going 3-3.
Brighton and Parsons also recently competed at the School Sports Australia from July 28 to 30.
Competing for Vic 2, Brighton won the title with his team and finished second on the individual player ladder with seven wins and a draw.
Parsons represented NSW 1, which finished third, while she posted six wins, a draw and a loss.
Cartwright challenges for national indoor title

Olivia Cartwright has continued her strong 2025 season.
After a run to the Australian Open finals earlier in the year, Cartwright claimed the Victorian Indoor Championships in July.
The Moama star surged to the title in convincing fashion, winning all her matches in straight sets.
The win confirmed Cartwright’s place at the Australian Indoor Championships, which were held in Tweed Heads from August 11 to 14.
Cartwright cruised through the round of 32 and was forced to a tie-breaking third set in the round of 16, before eventually falling to Tuggeranong’s Chloe Morrison in the quarter-finals.
