The Hoppers are 5-0 this season and are one of three unbeaten sides in the HDFL, alongside LBU and Mount Pleasant.
Bombers coach Tim Brannan said he knew his side was in for a tough challenge on Saturday.
“We know Colbinabbin are are a pretty good footy side,” Brannan said.
“We’ll go back to some structural stuff that we need to work on, we’re not going to worry too much about the win, loss or draw, we’re just going to go back to basics.
The Bombers had a tough loss last weekend against North Bendigo, falling to the Bulldogs by 79 points — a result Brannan described as “disappointing”.
Brannan said he hoped his side could bounce back on Saturday, with some key areas he wanted the team to focus on.
“I think if we can nail our defensive set-up, have our mids helping out down back when they can and hopefully some scoreboard pressure on, those are the main focuses we are going to have this week.”
The Bombers have had a plethora of injuries lately and Brannan said they could be under pressure again this weekend, with a number of players unwell with the flu.
In some good news, Joel Regan will return to the side after picking up a head knock a few weeks ago.
“We havee taken precautions with him and hopefully he’ll add a bit to the team as well,” Brannan said.
