Mathoura opens season with heavy defeat

The Timbercutters still suffered one of the heavier losses of the opening round, though Rennie’s 193-point thrashing at the hands of Berrigan means Mathoura is not bottom of the ladder.

Adam Bourke’s side will face the Saints in round three in what will be another tall task, but an opportunity for Mathoura locals to head out and watch the team in its first home clash of the season.
