The Golf Croquet pennant final was played between the Shepparton Kookaburras and Rich River Kangas at Numurkah and what a match.
After the first round of singles, the score was tied at two games 20 hoops.

The second round resulted in Shepparton edging ahead with two games 21 hoops to two games 19.
Then Shepparton won both games in the first round of doubles, but only 7 hoops to 5 and 7 hoops to 6.

That gave them a lead of two games and 5 hoops with two games to go.
Those two games both went Rich River's way, 7 hoops to 5, Rich River picking up 4 hoops.

The end result was Shepparton Kookaburras by one hoop.
Shepparton 6 games 65 hoops defeated Rich River 6 games 64 hoops.
A great end to a very competitive season.

Six people attended playing a mix of doubles and singles croquet.
A good time was had by all.
Congratulations to the winner Kevin Harrison who scored 3 games +12 hoops , and the runner-up Cheryl Lees scoring 2 games +5 hoops.
Numbers were light on today, with the cheer squad going to Numurkah to watch the Rich River Kangas compete against Shepparton in the Golf Croquet Pennant Final.
Golf Croquet – Tuesday, November 18
11 players competed on half courts this morning, with everyone enjoying the game.
Congratulations to the two people who won all three games, Sandra Retallick and Steve Potter.
The win went to Steve Potter 3 games +14 hoops and Sandra Retallick was runner-up with 3 games +11 hoops.
