The team of Stephen Hope, Chris Hawking and Jesse Edwards lifted the trophy after topping Ross Harris, Keith Price and Rohan Burgess six matches to five in a thrilling final.
The two teams were neck-and-neck throughout the entire contest and were locked at four matches a piece in the best-of-11 final.
Each side won one of the next two matches, setting up a winner-takes-all singles decider between each team’s A players, Hope and Burgess.
Hope jumped out to an early two-set lead in the best-of-five match-up and looked like he would cruise to victory.
But Burgess staged a stunning comeback, winning the next two sets to level the match.
Burgess had all the momentum heading into the deciding fifth set and even had a match point, but he was unable to convert it.
Later in the set it was Hope who had a match point of his own, sealing the win with a forehand that Burgess could not return.
The win for Hope, Hawking and Edwards capped off the end of the Echuca Table Tennis Association season, with a new season to start on Wednesday, May 25.
