The Echuca District Netball Association season came to a close with the grand finals and association awards last Saturday.

In the Navy section decider, the Vixens claimed the title after a win by the narrowest of margins, a 12-11 triumph over the Firebirds.
Eden Maddison was named as the best player, while Alanna McKee and Sarah Head were crowned as the joint best-and-fairest winners.
In the section one grand final, the Saphires put in a fantastic performance as they defeated the L’il Chicks 39-20.
The best-and-fairest prize went to Kate Head, while Marli Holloamby won the best player award.
The premiership trophies weren’t the only prizes handed out on the day, with awards recognising some of the top performers from the season.
Billie Logie and Sharon Moon were the co-winners of the best club person accolade, while Narelle King was named the coach of the year.
Aleisha Moon was awarded the young achiever prize and Kate Durrant earned the rising star honour.
