Junior and senior football and netball players kicked off the night with a whole-club training session that saw everyone train together, completing both football and netball-related drills.
Afterwards, the teams for the upcoming season were announced while players and families enjoyed a barbecue, with the senior captains also confirmed.
Tilly Keenan was announced as the A-grade netball captain, with Georgia McGowan and Nerolie Olsson to co-skipper the B-grade side. On the footy side of things, Justin Cantwell will be the seniors captain while Brodie Lloyd will lead the reserves.

Club spirit was the theme of Echuca United Football Club’s club season launch last week, with the Eagles looking to focus on the club culture, as well as on-field performance.
The Eagles face a tough season on the footy field, with the club looking to build towards the future.
United had just one win in 2021, but the difficult year could help strengthen the club in the long run. The Eagles were able to give plenty of invaluable game time given to their younger players, something they will look to do again this season.
Farran Priest returns to the club as head coach this season after a brief stint at Elmore, with Priest having donned the blue and hold during his playing career.
The Eagles’ A-grade netball team was crowned premiers in 2019, but has faced a long wait to defend its title.
United was sitting fourth on the ladder with seven wins and four losses before the season was unfortunately cancelled.
After multiple seasons impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was a welcome sight to see so many people enjoying together.
