Aged 78 years.

Deeply loved husband and treasured best friend of Jenny.

Adored father of Lucy, Sally and Tom,

and Betty and Milly.

Along with a wonderful sense of humour, he was a gentle,

skilled steward of animals, plants and home.

His family will carry on his dedication to Carlton FC.

John died at Calvary, Adelaide, following a long and debilitating illness

that he faced with his customary quiet courage.

He was supported by his loved and loving family during his Palliative Care,

his children constantly by his side.

As per John’s wishes, he was privately cremated

and there will be no funeral.
