ROSE, Lindsay Douglas

5 Sept 1926 – 8 Feb 2026.

A loving and dedicated husband to Norma and the father and mentor to five boys, Terry, Christopher, David, Simon and Peter. Lindsay was focused in all aspects of his life. In 1948, He was a foundation member of Yurredla Ski Club, which remained a large part of his life. He was a doyen of the Australian helicopter industry, co-founding Jayrow Helicopters with his two brothers in 1965 and augmented that company with a vision for a gas turbine overhaul company in 1985. An intense and generous friend to those he respected, he will be missed by many who had the privilege of knowing him.
