Teenagers airlifted to Melbourne after motorbike accident near Wharparilla

POLICE and paramedics were on the scene of a motorbike accident at Wharparilla this afternoon.

It is believed two teenage boys, aged 18 and 14, were on a dirt bike travelling along Pianta Rd when they veered off the road and crashed into a tree about 12.30pm.

One has a head injury and is in a serious condition.

The other has leg and hip injuries and is in a stable condition.

The patients have been airlifted to Melbourne.
