Screening first on Sunday, December 26, and Monday, December 27, is an intriguing, emotional and humorous film from Norway, Diana’s Wedding (MA 15+).
Set on July 29, 1981, and Lady Diana Spencer is marrying Prince Charles.
On the same day, another celebration is taking place in the canteen of a factory in a small Norwegian town.
Newlyweds Liv and Terje’s celebrate their wedding party while their newborn daughter Diana lies in her pram.
Like her famous namesake, Diana, will face a lot of chaos in the years to come, thanks to her parents.
Screening second in the double bill is a charming British rom-com about a mum and her teenage son, Days Of The Bagnold Summer (M), starring Monica Dolan, Earl Cave (son of Nick), Tamsin Greig and Rob Brydon.
There are moments in the film that every parent will relate to.
This funny, yet sweet coming-of-age story centres on the wobbly relationship between a well-intentioned single librarian and her rebellious, black-clad teenage son Daniel, who would rather listen to Metallica than his mother. Based on a popular graphic novel.
These two films will screen on Sunday, December 26, at 6pm and Monday, December 27, at 7pm
