Fitmob raises $3000 for bushfire appeal

FITMOB Echuca have done their part for the bushfire appeal by raising over $3000 this month.

The organisation auctioned off three different packages via their social media channels, including personal training sessions and classes.

Some of the money donated has already been sent to a hay delivery drive travelling to a farmer who lost his truck, tractor and much more during the fires.

The farmer was also unable to get the required fodder to feed his stock.

Owner Shannon Fink said he was thrilled with the response the community had shown.

“It's remarkable just how much money we've been able to raise, not just Fitmob but a community as a whole,” Fink said.

“The least we can do is help those people out who have lost everything because of these fires.

“If the donation can make even the smallest difference, it will go a long way.”

Donations are still being collected by Fitmob in tins at the gym.
