From the creator of the hit broadway show Cirque Mother Africa, Winston Ruddle returns to Australia with Cirque Africa and will be stopping in Echuca.

The show will be a sight to behold, with popular acts such as contortionists, daring balancing acts, acrobatics, human pyramids and lots of dancing and singing.

The troupe is made up of 20 people who come from all corners of Africa, including Tanzania, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya.

Lead performer Mohamed Pengo said the group members were in high spirits and encouraged everyone to grab a ticket.

“We are very happy and always excited. Every night once we finish the performance we go to the foyer to meet and greet [the audience],” he said.

“Don’t wait for someone to tell you about the show, come and see the show yourself.

Due to the distance between the troupe members’ homes in Africa, they only had a month to practise all together before coming to Australia.

Once arriving in Australia, they took another two weeks to polish their show before kicking the tour off in August in Brisbane.

Cirque Africa will arrive in Echuca on Tuesday, October 15, and will perform at Echuca Paramount.
