Murray River Council has launched Live Work Invest, a new website that aims to promote lifestyle and investment opportunities around the local government area.

The platform features a range of resources and information for potential jobseekers, investors, entrepreneurs and families.

Mayor John Harvie said the initiative was created to highlight the region’s best qualities.

“Our region offers an unmatched lifestyle, strong business opportunities and a welcoming community,” he said.

“Live Work Invest is about connecting people with these opportunities and showcasing why River Country is such a fantastic place to call home.”

The website includes a business directory and a guide for new residents detailing everything from bin collection days to events around the region.

It also provides a look at the seven towns within the LGA and what each town has to offer.

For those looking to invest or to find a potential career, a regional investment prospectus is also available on the website.

The prospectus gives non locals an idea of the area’s economic profile and key industries that may be of interest to investors.

Cr Harvie added that the platform would be the place to go for any information about the LGA.

“Whether you’re dreaming of a fresh start, planning to relocate or looking to expand your business, Live Work Invest is your go-to hub for opportunities and resources in our vibrant region,” he said.
