Murray River Council are now accepting applications for the second round of the Community Grants Program.
The grant offers eligible groups up to $3000 for projects, equipment or events which contribute positively to the local community.
Mayor John Harvie encouraged local community groups in need of a financial boost to submit their applications.
“The Community Grants Program is in place to support our local groups and committees to further their ideas or projects,” he said.
“Whether it’s an event people are looking to get off the ground or a new piece of equipment for a facility, if it is of benefit to our local area, I would encourage community groups to apply.”
To be successful, applicants will need to meet criteria demonstrating community need, sustainability, community benefit, inclusiveness and more.
Applications will close at 4pm on Monday, April 7 and successful applicants will be notified before June 2025.
