Crossenvale keeps the kids entertained

The crew at Crossenvale Community House offered two weeks of school holiday activities during the summer break.

While the 40°C-plus days hampered playing cricket and having fun in the park, children from the Crossenvale area enjoyed paint-by-numbers, colouring, drawing and puzzles.

Noah and Caedyn play a friendly game of Connect Four.

Over the course of the two sessions, kids aged five to 12 were deep in concentration, with bouts of laughter and high fives in between.

The best part of the fun is that the parents and guardians get involved, creating a real family atmosphere.

Noah and Caedyn try their hands at puzzles and games.

We're grateful to the Crossenvale community for getting behind the house's initiatives and need to pass on a special thanks to our volunteer team that provided lunches for our awesome artists and super sleuths.

We're looking forward to the term one holiday fun.

If you have any ideas or feedback regarding activities, please pop into the house at 28 Boothman St, Echuca or call 5480 3583.
