In the GVL, Echuca’s teams will travel to Benalla Showgrounds to face the slow-starting Saints, with the senior football match slated for a 2pm start.
The Echuca A-grade netballers will do battle at the same venue, hoping to notch a victory against 11th placed Benalla to get their season back on track at 2.15pm.
All three of Moama, Echuca United and Tongala will be in action in round four of the MFNL, with both the Blues and Magpies hosting Rumba and Finley respectively.
Meanwhile, the Eagles contingent will travel to Cobram to face the Tigers, who are currently undefeated in senior football and winless in A-grade netball.
Moama’s seniors side will have a chance to avenge its 2024 preliminary final loss to the Cats at home, while Tonny will look to break even on its season record through four rounds.
All three senior football games are scheduled to begin at 2pm, while all three A-grade netball games will start at 1.30pm.
Entering just its second round of 2025, the HDFNL has a busy slate of games scheduled for the weekend.
Lockington-Bamawm United, Leitchville-Gunbower, Heathcote and Elmore will host Mount Pleasant, Huntly, Colbinabbin and White Hills respectively.
Both LBU and L-G’s football and netball games will start at 2.30pm, while Heathcote and Colbinabbin’s on-field contest will begin at 3pm with the football starting at 2.30pm.
The matches between Elmore and White Hills will be night games, with the first bounce of football at 5.45pm and first pass on-court at 6pm.
A fated showdown between PDFNL rivals Picola United and Mathoura will get fans’ mouths watering as the Timbercutters visit Picola Recreation Reserve, with the senior game scheduled for 2.05pm while the A-grade netball will start at 1.30pm.
