Celebrations will kick off on Friday, May 23 at the St Mary’s Parish with a meet-and-greet happening from 5pm.
The event is open to all parishioners and guests and will be a chance for all to socialise and prepare for the weekend.
On Saturday, a mini pilgrimage will be held, starting at the Echuca Cemetery from 11am before heading to St Mary’s parish.
After a lunch break, there will be a tour around the church and priory at 1.30pm, where guests can dive into the rich history of St Mary’s Parish.
To end the pilgrimage, guests will visit St Joseph’s College at 2.30pm to enjoy another tour and a cuppa.
From 5.30pm a vigil led by the Bishop of Sandhurst Shane Mackinlay will be held with the Augustinian priests and the Brigidine Sisters to attend the event too.
The day will then close with a two-course gala dinner at Moama Bowling Club at 7pm.
Celebrations will continue the following day, with a 10.30am family mass once again led by Bishop Mackinlay at the St Mary’s Primary School Brigidine Centre.
Once mass concludes, parishioners and guests are invited to enjoy a parish carnival on the school grounds.
The carnival will have live music, jumping castles, performances and face painting for the kids.
Food will also be available with a barbecue, some sweets and a spread of multicultural food for all to enjoy.
