The event will take place at Tindarra Resort from 9.30am to 11am with breakfast rolls and coffee on offer for attendees.
It’ll be an event for the whole family, with live music, kids’ games and a playground.
If you wish to support FightMND, the event is $5 entry with Big Freeze beanies and raffle tickets available for purchase.
For anyone interested in being a gold sponsor, you can make a $250 donation, which will grant you a special mention at the event and an Instagram post for your business via @mnd_echuca_moama.
Unlike last year’s event, there will be no special guest plungers, with Mr Ogilvie taking to the pool for 60 seconds.
However, it is still a great social event for community members to gather and raise money and awareness for an important cause.
Mr Ogilvie highlighted his reasons for organising the event again in 2025, alongside his donation goal and excitement for the plunge.
“I was contemplating not running it this year, but I just started working with a client that has MND, and he has been my motivation to get it going again.”
“I started doing the fundraisers because of my interest in cold water therapy in 2022, so it made me want to get people out of their comfort zones and do something that is really beneficial for your body.
“I’m aiming to raise $10,000 this year, we’ve already got $2800 before the day has even started, which is a pretty big positive.
“I am definitely looking forward to it, every year I have done it I get about two weeks out from the event and I get really excited about it.”
