Being part of the community is vital to NAB, with branch staff involved in several community groups and actively participating in local events. The branch is a member of the Committee for Echuca Moama.
Following a $1.5 million refurbishment in 2021, the branch at 165-167 Hare St, Echuca, now houses business and retail teams under one roof.
The modern facility features multiple meeting spaces, a self-service digital bar and business change and deposit machines.
“Local bankers understand the unique needs and challenges of the community because they live and work in it too,” Mrs Smith said.
“This connection allows them to offer more tailored advice and support that’s structured to local businesses and families.
“At a time when financial services are increasingly automated and impersonal, it’s the trust, familiarity and genuine care found in local relationships that make all the difference.”
