Moama, Tongala and Echuca United will appear on grand final day in some capacity, with the Magpies having the largest spread of teams across football and netball.
The reserve football Magpies got it done against Cobram in the prelim, putting the Tigers to bed convincingly 9.10 (64) to 3.5 (23).
The reserves join the under-17 footballers as the two representatives for 2025 after the under-14s fell in a tight prelim battle to Deniliquin 5.6 (36) to 4.4 (28).
The under-17 footballers will go up against Cobram at 10.30am, while the reserves will do battle with Congupna at 12.10pm.
With all three junior netball sides punching their tickets to the grand final early, it was up to Moama’s B-grade unit to see if it would also get a shot at the title this season.
In a scintillating showdown with arch-rival Echuca United, the Magpies flew highest, taking down the Eagles 55-46.
Moama B-grade will now face fellow rival Tongala at noon to crown a premier.
With the B-grader’s defeat, the only Echuca United side to qualify for a chance at the flag in 2025 is the 17-and-under netballers, who took down Tongala 59-39.
They will now play Moama to decide this season’s champion at 9.30am.
Speaking of the Blues, all of their sides that hadn’t already booked dates in the grand final before the prelim were eliminated on Saturday, with the 13-and-under netballers falling short of Mulwala 32-11.
Tongala’s C-grade and C-reserve grade teams will be gunning for glory on Saturday, with the C-graders taking on Congupna at 10.45am and the C-reserves at noon against Nathalia.
Outside the 17-and-under side, Moama’s 15-and-under and 13-and-under teams will be looking to defend their titles.
The 15-and-under side will take on Cobram at 10.45am and the 13-and-under unit will clash with Mulwala at 9.30am.
The MFNL grand final day will be held at Moama Recreation Reserve on Saturday, September 20.
