The church has seen major growth over the past two decades, quickly outgrowing the Adult Education Centre where it began in October 2005.
Today, the church has around 240 members, with anything from 110 to 160 people at each Sunday service led by Pastor Robert Wiltshire.
Pr Wiltshire has served the church for the past 10 years, however he has been a member of the Epicentre community for much longer.
He has been witness to the church’s growth over the years, starting out as a youth leader before taking on a role in the church leadership team and eventually the senior leadership team.
Ten years ago he took on the role of pastor when his predecessor stepped down.
Pr Wiltshire said he was excited to celebrate the occasion with the church, especially those who inspired him when he was younger.
“I’m excited about it and very much looking forward to the celebration. It’s a humbling experience to have an integral role in it,” he said.
“I was in the church from the beginning and so all the people that are coming back, they’re some of the individuals that very much grew and stimulated and stirred my faith.
“There’s been this journey that I’ve watched us go on, and I’ve been a part of it, so it’s been good to watch that unfold and engage with it and be a part of it.”

To celebrate the milestone, Pr Wiltshire will lead the church in a service filled with stories of the church’s history and funny tales from over the years.
The congregation will also honour past church members who had a hand in making Epicentre what it is today.
Following the service, there will be a catered lunch by Minute Chefs Catering for everyone to enjoy together.
There will also be activities to keep the children entertained and a coffee van on site.
Pr Wiltshire said the event would be a chance to celebrate the church’s journey over the years, and its future.
“There was a show when I was younger called This is your life and so the intention is it’s meant to be a blend of that plus inspiration, as far as like, hey, this is our life,” he said.
“This is the journey that we’ve been on. This is what it’s looked like. This is where we’ve come from. This is where we are today.
“What I’m wanting to do post (celebration) is inspire not just us as a church but as individuals of what’s next for your relationship with God?”
More than 200 people are expected to attend the anniversary celebrations.
All community members are also welcome to join the event, which will be held at Epicentre Church from 10.30am on Sunday, October 12.
