Rebecca Burns has stepped into the role of chair, with Beth Kimball continuing as secretary. Committee members Iris Hicks, Robin Webb and Lisa Roberts are maintaining their positions, while Derek Jones joins as a new committee member.
    
                  
                                                                
                  
                                            
                              
        “I came across a call-out on the Crossenvale Community House Facebook page seeking committee members, and it struck me as a great chance to get involved with a local organisation doing meaningful work in Echuca,” Ms Burns said.
    
                  
                                                                                                                                                                                    
                              
        “Although I'd only recently joined, there was an opportunity to step into the role of chair and I was glad to put my hand up and contribute.”
    
                  
                                                                                                                                                                                    
                              
        Crossenvale Community House manager Rob Foran acknowledged the departing members' service.
    
                  
                                                                                                                                                                                    
                              
        “We would like to extend our thanks to resigning chair Mel Cordy and Committee of Management member Kevin Sheed for their invaluable service; particularly Mel, who has also been a volunteer at Crossenvale house for many years,” he said.
    
                  
                                                                                                                                                                                    
                              
        The community house, located at 28 Boothman St, Echuca, operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
    
                  
                                                                
                  
                  
                                                                                                                                                                                    
                              
        Their Food Relief Program runs Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 2.30pm, providing essential items to local residents.
    
                  
                                                                                                                                                                                    
                              
        They also offer various activities including arts and crafts workshops, support groups, and computer literacy classes.
