As part of the annual Australian Library and Information Association event, children across Australia gathered at hundreds of locations at the same time on May 27 to enjoy Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd’s story, Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller.
Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller focuses on Luna, a spirited kangaroo, and her friends, as they chase their football dreams across the outback.
The book’s focus on action, teamwork and fun are great messages for our children, with the need to navigate nerves, face tricky opponents and overcome unexpected hurdles matters they face every day.
Karen Teskera encourages children to act out some of the book.
