The new Echuca-Moama bridge at the Murray River has made visible progress in the past week.
The main span of the bridge is being built using a balanced cantilever construction method, meaning it can be built across the river from both banks at the same time, without the need for a temporary support structure in the middle.
The bridge will measure 622 metres across the Murray River floodplain, with the main span measuring in at 115m, sitting 15m above the riverbanks.
